I'm a sucker for tiles! Found these in Poole..

Calke Abbey

On saturday I visited Calke Abbey in derbyshire - 'a house in decline'. I loved its peeling paintwork and old wallpaper, really giving you a sense of its history, aswell as being a bit spooky.. my favourite part was the family graves covered in different shades of heather.

I love everything about these illustrations - the colour, the layout and the delicate feel of them. These will be going up on my wall together - couldnt leave any out.
