giant florals

...never thought i would fill an a2 page.

florals galore

As my part of my final project I visited kew gardens. My favourite photos were ones i took through the windows of the beautiful glasshouses there, so i have looked at blurring and obscuring areas of my work - this has worked its way into my project theme...

its been strange being back on the computers today after so many weeks of drawing...im going to miss it.

life drawing...

As part of my final project I have been going to life drawing classes at uni. They have been so useful and took me back to art foundation days... I wanted to keep a delicate approach to my drawings, I can really see them on chiffons and am excited to start combining them with my florals on photoshop..

and this is my stripy foot..

project 1, final year outcomes

I wanted to continue the idea of recycling - giving these old tins a new lease of life, so I made up reusable fabric book covers for my final outcome. Each main design has a matching lining.

project 1, final year - drawings

For this project i looked at 'odds and ends', starting off with little collections of objects that I probably should have thrown away..and then going on to looking at charity and bric a brac shops - concentrating on a love of mine - old rusty tins... alot of my favourite drawings are based on photos taken in anarchy records in nottingham...sadly the ground floor that was full of lovely junk has gone now...
